Swimwear is about more than looking good, it’s about feeling good too. That’s why sustainable design isn’t just a buzzword at NAYOMI Swim, it’s our foundation. In a world that’s becoming more conscious of fast fashion’s impact, we want to give you a closer look at what “ethical swimwear” really means.
What Sustainability Means in Swimwear:
♻️ Regenerated Fabrics
Our suits are made with Italian ECONYL®, a luxurious regenerated fabric created from industrial plastic and waste found in the water eg. fishing nets. It’s ultra-durable, soft, and better for the planet.
🧵 Our Factory - Slow, Not Fast Fashion
We create pieces in small batches to avoid waste, working with a factory in Bali. The factory is leading ethical manufacturer commited to sustainability, fair labor practices, and low-impact production which aligns perfectly with our values. Our design process is thoughtful, not trend-chasing — meaning your suit lasts beyond just one season.
🌊 The Future of the Marine Life - Soneva Foundation
We donate 5% of our profits to the Soneva Foundation. A foundation that supports marine conservation through coral restoration programs, reef protection, and sustainable ocean initiatives to preserve marine biodiversity in and around the Maldives.
🧼 Care = Longevity
The most sustainable thing you can do? Make your swimwear last. Look at our gentle care tips (cold wash and lay flat to dry) to make your swimsuit last more than just one season.
